Step 2 — Relink with a new code
- Generate New Code.
- Post using correct method (channel post or /link CODE).
- Confirm “Code accepted” appears.
Step 3 — Validate with a fresh join request
Run a fresh test and confirm DM Sent increments without new failed count spike.
Common mistakes
- Retrying same expired code multiple times.
- Changing many settings before validating one clean relink.
- Skipping fresh join-request test after fix.
- Testing in one channel while issue exists on another.
