Overview
Text replies and paid-media delivery do not have identical Telegram requirements. A valid Secretary Mode connection can still send text while missing the permissions required for Telegram Stars media.
- Distinguish a paid-media permission issue from a full connection failure.
- Enable the permissions Telegram exposes for Gifts and Stars management.
- Retest with one real paid-media step.
Before you start
- Select the exact bot, creator profile, and fan conversation affected by the issue.
- Keep the full recent Telegram conversation available while diagnosing.
- Read the current status shown in Telestars before changing configuration.
Step by step
- Confirm ordinary text replies work in the affected fan conversation.
- Open the linked bot permissions in Secretary Mode on the creator Telegram account.
- Enable every permission Telegram currently requires under Manage Gifts and Stars for the intended paid-media path.
- Confirm the affected chat is also inside the bot recipient scope.
- Verify the connection in Telestars and test one ready Paid step with a valid Stars price.
