Overview
Lists organize fans without changing their Telegram identity or conversation history. Manual Lists keep the exact fans you select. Dynamic Lists recalculate automatically from recorded Stars spend, purchases, activity, relationship age, purchase recency, or buyer segment.
- Create an exact hand-picked audience or an automatically updating segment.
- Understand the difference between total members and fans reachable now.
- Reuse one or several Lists in Fan Inbox and Broadcast.
Before you start
- Select the Telegram account you intend to manage in the dashboard bot selector.
- Confirm that the fan has sent a new message to the connected Secretary Mode profile.
- Prepare Gallery media for the selected Telegram account before attaching it to a message.
- Lists requires the Pro plan on the selected Telegram bot.
- Every List belongs to one selected bot; fans and criteria never cross bot scope.
Step by step
- Open Lists and confirm the intended Telegram account in the dashboard selector.
- Choose New list, give it a clear operational name, and select Manual or Dynamic.
- For Manual, search the known fans and select the exact members. For Dynamic, add one or more criteria; every criterion must match.
- Save the List and compare Members with Reachable now before using it for messaging.
- In Fan Inbox, select the List to review every matching conversation. In Broadcast, select one or several Lists and refresh Reachable now before review.
How it works
These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.
| What to know | Telestars behavior |
|---|---|
| Manual List | Membership changes only when an authorized owner or admin edits the selected fans. |
| Dynamic List | Membership recalculates from persisted Telegram and purchase data whenever the List is loaded or used. |
| Multiple Lists | Broadcast combines selected Lists as a union, so a fan matching any selected List is included once. |
| Reachable now | Broadcast then intersects that union with the selected audience and Telegram’s current 24-hour Business reply window. |
| Inbox behavior | Fan Inbox can show List members outside the reply window; archived members remain available by combining the List with the Archived audience. |
Verify the result
- Confirm the outgoing message appears in both the Fan Inbox and the intended Telegram conversation.
- Check that the sender, media state, price, and purchase status are represented correctly.
- Verify that every manual action stayed inside the selected bot and team-member scope.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | What to check |
|---|---|
| A Dynamic List is empty | Review every criterion: Dynamic Lists use all-match logic, so one unmatched condition excludes the fan. |
| Members exist but Reachable now is zero | Those fans have no qualifying inbound message in the last 24 hours, the Secretary connection is unavailable, or delivery is blocked. |
| A fan is missing from a Manual List | Edit the List under the same bot and confirm the fan conversation exists in that bot scope. |
| Broadcast count is lower than the List count | This is expected when members fall outside the 24-hour window or do not match Buyers or VIP filtering. |
Best practice
Keep the selected bot, fan, and current paid offer visible while replying so manual work never conflicts with the active Telegram conversation state.
