Overview
Scripts define the ordered product progression available to the AI. Telestars validates scripts against the bot, current sales mode, required text, and media readiness before they can support AI activation.
- Create a script for the correct bot and sales mode.
- Build valid free and paid steps where the mode permits them.
- Resolve step-level readiness issues.
- Activate a script that the runtime can actually select.
Before you start
- A Telestars workspace and permission to configure at least one bot.
- Access to the Telegram account and the official @BotFather bot used for setup.
- A Telegram Business profile with the Chatbots settings available.
Step by step
- Open Scripts, select the target bot, and confirm its current mode before creating the script.
- Create a clearly named script and add steps in the intended conversation and sales order.
- Add the required title and text to each step, then attach Gallery media only where it supports that step.
- In Paid Media mode, include at least one valid paid step with delivery-ready media; in Sell Link mode, keep all steps free.
- Resolve every validation message, save the script, and mark it active for the target bot.
- Return to My Bots and confirm that the script and paid-media blockers have cleared for the selected mode.
How it works
These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.
| What to know | Telestars behavior |
|---|---|
| Active eligibility | AI readiness is evaluated against active valid scripts scoped to the bot’s current sales mode. |
| Sell Link steps | Every Sell Link step is free-only and must contain its required title and text; media remains optional. |
| Paid Media steps | Paid Media activation requires a real paid route with media that is ready for the target Telegram bot. |
| Mode changes | A script valid in one mode does not automatically satisfy the other mode, so readiness must be checked again after switching. |
Verify the result
- The script belongs to the intended bot and current mode.
- All steps pass validation and the script is active.
- My Bots no longer lists a script-readiness blocker for this bot.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | What to check |
|---|---|
| The script will not activate | Open the reported step and complete missing title, text, pricing, or media requirements for the current mode. |
| The script is active but AI still reports no paid media | In Paid Media mode, confirm that at least one paid step uses a bot-ready Gallery asset; a free-only script is not enough. |
| The script disappeared after switching modes | Return to the mode it was built for or create and activate a compatible script for the new mode. |
Best practice
Configure and validate one bot end to end before copying the setup to other bots. A real Telegram conversation is the final source of truth.
