Overview

Shift history summarizes planned and worked time, while the Audit Log records administrative events such as invitations, role changes, bot assignments, removals, schedules, and shift corrections.

  • Review attendance over a selected period.
  • Trace who changed team access or scheduling.
  • Use search and date filters to investigate a specific event.

Before you start

  • Open the workspace in which the member, bot assignments, and shifts should live.
  • Confirm your current role allows the team action you intend to perform.
  • Use an active chatter membership before creating or editing a chatter schedule.

Step by step

  1. Open Team and select Shift history to choose the period you want to review.
  2. Compare scheduled time, worked time, participation, and individual entries for the relevant chatter.
  3. Select Audit log and use the same date window when investigating a schedule or access change.
  4. Search by action, actor, or target type to narrow the event list.
  5. Open the event context and compare its timestamp with the affected membership, assignment, or shift entry.

How it works

Different purposesThe audit log explains management changes; it is not a transcript of fan conversations or ordinary messages.

Verify the result

  • The member role and assigned bots match the intended operating scope.
  • The weekly schedule is shown in the workspace timezone, including any overnight end time.
  • Invitations, role changes, assignments, and schedule changes appear in the appropriate team view.

A shift is classified unexpectedlyCompare the clock-in time, workspace timezone, and scheduled slot shown for that day.

Best practice

Grant the smallest bot scope and role needed for the job, then verify access with the member before live coverage begins.
