Overview

The Shift schedule is a recurring weekly plan for active chatters. A day can contain multiple slots, and a slot whose end is earlier than its start is represented as ending the next day.

  • Create split coverage on the same weekday.
  • Schedule work that crosses midnight.
  • Verify coverage in the shared weekly calendar.

Before you start

  • Open the workspace in which the member, bot assignments, and shifts should live.
  • Confirm your current role allows the team action you intend to perform.
  • Use an active chatter membership before creating or editing a chatter schedule.

Step by step

  1. Open Team, select Shift schedule, and choose an active chatter.
  2. Select a weekday and add the first start and end time.
  3. Add another time slot when the chatter has split coverage on that day.
  4. For overnight coverage, set an end time earlier than the start and confirm the editor marks it as ending the next day.
  5. Save and return to the weekly grid to verify every slot in the workspace timezone.
