Overview
Caption mode is an explicit choice on each media step. Manual preserves client-authored copy exactly. Auto lets Telestars create a short caption grounded in the fan message, creator voice, selected media, language, and price at the moment of delivery.
- Choose the correct caption ownership for every media step.
- Keep Manual copy verbatim when exact wording matters.
- Use Auto for conversation-aware and language-aware captions.
Before you start
- Select the bot and creator that will use the Script.
- Prepare usable media in Gallery before adding media-based steps.
- Decide whether the bot sells Telegram paid media or uses a configured Sell Link path.
Step by step
- Open a media step and locate its caption mode.
- Choose Manual when the configured text must be sent exactly as saved.
- Choose Auto when the caption should adapt to the current fan conversation and target language.
- Confirm the selected media has reliable context, type, count, free or paid state, and price where applicable.
- Run a live delivery test and confirm the caption is attached to the media rather than duplicated as a separate chat reply.
How it works
These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.
| What to know | Telestars behavior |
|---|---|
| Manual | The saved step text is delivered verbatim and is not rewritten or automatically translated. |
| Auto | The delivery-time caption is grounded in the current conversation and actual selected media. |
| Attachment | One or more short Auto caption bubbles are preserved in order inside one Telegram media caption. |
| Empty result | If no usable Auto caption is produced, the media step stays pending instead of sending without its required caption. |
Verify the result
- Confirm the Script is active, ordered correctly, and ready for its selected selling path.
- Run a real conversation through the minimum, delivery, and next-state transition.
- Verify every delivered price, caption, media item, and purchase state matches the saved configuration.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | What to check |
|---|---|
| A Manual caption uses the wrong language | Edit the saved copy or switch that step to Auto; Manual text is intentionally preserved verbatim. |
| An Auto caption is too generic | Improve the media context and confirm the correct asset, fan message, and Voice Preset are present. |
| The caption appeared twice | Confirm the generated text was consumed as the attached caption and not configured again as a separate follow-up. |
Best practice
Use Manual for exact campaign copy and Auto when live conversation fit is more important than fixed wording.
