Overview

Automatic top-up is an organization wallet safeguard. Billing displays the current trigger, requires a saved Stripe payment method, and lets an owner/admin choose the amount added each time the trigger condition is met.

  • Add a reusable payment method securely.
  • Choose a suitable automatic recharge amount.
  • Enable or disable the wallet safeguard.
  • Audit automatic deposits in History.

Before you start

  • An owner or admin role, because wallet, subscriptions, payment methods, and renewal controls are restricted billing data.
  • At least one connected bot when you want to select or change a per-bot plan.
  • A supported card or cryptocurrency when adding funds.

Step by step

  1. Open Billing Overview and read the current automatic top-up trigger shown beside the control.
  2. If no reusable card is available, choose Add payment method and complete the Stripe setup flow.
  3. Enable Auto top-up after Billing confirms that a payment method is ready.
  4. Enter the USD amount that Telestars should add each time the displayed trigger condition is met.
  5. Allow the setting to save, then reload Billing and confirm the toggle and amount remain selected.
  6. Review History periodically for automatic deposit rows and investigate any Failed status promptly.

How it works

These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.

Verify the result

  • Billing reports that a payment method is available.
  • The Auto top-up toggle and recharge amount persist after a refresh.
  • A future automatic recharge, when triggered, appears as a distinct History row.

Troubleshooting

If you see thisWhat to check
The toggle opens Add payment methodComplete the Stripe payment-method setup first; Billing intentionally blocks automatic charging without a saved method.
The amount does not saveEnter a positive numeric USD amount, pause briefly for the settings update, then reload the page to verify persistence.
An automatic top-up failedReview the payment method in Billing or Stripe, add funds manually if needed, and inspect the failed History row before re-enabling automation.

Best practice

Use Billing as the source of truth for current prices, fee rates, thresholds, and plan availability; review History after every material payment or renewal change.
