Overview

Response Delay is a target measured from the latest inbound fan message to the outgoing AI reply. Active Hours define the schedule in which automated messaging is allowed for the creator.

  • Set a minimum and maximum reply window.
  • Align the schedule with the creator timezone.
  • Understand how rapid fan messages affect the timing target.

Before you start

  • Select the exact Telegram bot and creator profile you want to configure.
  • Make sure the bot has a usable Secretary Mode setup for live creator-profile conversations.
  • Prepare at least one active, usable Script before enabling AI for production traffic.

Step by step

  1. Open Behavior Settings and set the minimum and maximum Response Delay.
  2. Confirm the creator timezone used by the Active Hours schedule.
  3. Enable the intended active periods and save the configuration.
  4. Send one message, then send a short burst of nearby messages before the reply arrives.
  5. Confirm Telestars responds to the latest combined fan moment and that proactive follow-ups respect the schedule.

How it works

These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.

What to knowTelestars behavior
Delay meaningThe configured delay targets total perceived time from the latest fan message, not an extra wait added after the reply is ready.
Message burstsNearby fan messages can be grouped as one current turn so the reply addresses the latest signal instead of answering line by line.
External latencyTelegram and other external processing can occasionally make an individual reply exceed the target.
Pause scheduleScheduled no-reply follow-ups do not bypass the configured inactive periods.

Verify the result

  • Send a real fan message to the linked Telegram profile and confirm a visible reply arrives.
  • Confirm the reply uses the intended creator facts, voice, language, and commercial pace.
  • Check that changing style never changes the configured Script, price, media, or delivery state.

Troubleshooting

If you see thisWhat to check
Replies are consistently outside the rangeCheck the saved values, creator timezone, active schedule, Telegram connection, and whether fans send additional messages before delivery.
One fan message received several repliesTest with a short burst and confirm the messages belong to one conversation and one reply window.
A no-reply follow-up did not sendCheck Active Hours, the Telegram reply window, and whether the fan replied or another follow-up sequence is active.

Best practice

Choose a range that fits the creator voice, then measure it from the fan experience rather than from the moment generation starts.
