Overview
Unlock Rate, LTV, and Golden Ratio answer different questions. Read them together only after fixing the same bot and date range, and always inspect their underlying volume before drawing a conclusion.
- Explain what each metric measures.
- Avoid comparing a rate from one scope with volume from another.
- Recognize when a small sample makes a strong percentage unreliable.
Before you start
- Select the exact Telegram account you want to analyze in the dashboard top bar.
- Choose a date range that matches the business question you are answering.
- Allow real messages, paid sends, and purchases to occur before judging an empty report.
Step by step
- Select one bot and one date range in Creator Statistics.
- Read Unlock Rate beside the displayed paid unlock and paid-send counts.
- Read LTV beside Total Earnings and Paying Fans to understand the average value represented.
- Read Golden Ratio beside PPV and outbound activity to understand proposal cadence rather than purchase conversion.
- Repeat the comparison in a previous equal-length period only after keeping all definitions and filters unchanged.
How it works
These are the product rules and states that matter for this workflow.
| What to know | Telestars behavior |
|---|---|
| Unlock Rate | Paid unlocks divided by paid offers sent in the selected scope. |
| LTV | Total recorded revenue divided by paying fans in the selected scope. |
| Golden Ratio | The share of outbound activity represented by paid-media proposals. |
| Average PPV Paid | Average value of confirmed paid unlocks, which is different from the price of offers that were not purchased. |
Verify the result
- The selected bot and date range are visible before you compare any values.
- Revenue and conversion values are consistent with the visible paid-send and purchase activity.
- A zero value is treated as no recorded activity in the selected scope, not automatically as an error.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | What to check |
|---|---|
| A report is empty | Confirm the selected bot, date range, and whether qualifying activity occurred during that period. |
| Two reports show different totals | Check that both reports use the same bot, dates, metric definition, and attribution scope. |
| The latest data did not load | Use Retry and keep the last visible report separate from a failed refresh. |
Best practice
Always pair a rate with its numerator and denominator. A high percentage from very few sends is not the same signal as the same percentage at sustained volume.
